Delete Your Account & Data
You have the right to delete your account and all personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we must retain and why.

What happens when you delete
Your account and login credentials are permanently removed from our systems.
All meal logs, calorie history, macro data, nutrition goals, and AI coach history are deleted.
Meal photos sent for AI analysis are never stored — they are discarded immediately after processing, so there is nothing to delete.
Deletion is completed within 30 days of your verified request.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
Fastest method. Instant confirmation.
- 1Open WatchMyCal on your device.
- 2Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation.
- 3Go to Settings → Account.
- 4Tap "Delete My Account".
- 5Confirm when prompted. Your account and all data are queued for permanent deletion.
Deleting your account also cancels your active subscription. Refunds for unused periods are subject to App Store or Google Play refund policies.
Option 2 — Request by email
Use this if you no longer have access to your account.
Send an email to privacy@watchmycal.com with the subject line:
Include the following in the email body:
- •The email address associated with your WatchMyCal account.
- •Your full name as used during sign-up.
- •A brief reason for deletion (optional, but appreciated).
We will verify your identity and respond within 5 business days. Full deletion is completed within 30 days of identity verification.
What we retain after deletion — and why
Billing records
Transaction IDs and purchase receipts are retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations and applicable tax law. This data is never used for marketing or profiling.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics
Aggregate usage metrics (e.g., 'X meals were logged in March') that cannot be linked back to any individual may be retained for product improvement.
Legal hold data
If your account is subject to an active legal dispute, regulatory inquiry, or fraud investigation, we may be required to retain relevant data until the matter is resolved.
Apple Health / Google Fit data
Health data stored on your device through HealthKit or Google Fit is not deleted by us — it is stored on your device and controlled by you through the Health or Fit app directly.
Your deletion rights by region
Right to erasure of personal data. Requests honoured within 30 days.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") under Article 17. Requests honoured within 30 days.
Right to delete personal information collected about you as a consumer.
